It was the 10th under-12 match of the year with nine boys and girls competing, including two newcomers – William and Cody.

Jake and Hannah fought it out for first place with the former just getting the biggest bag by 4oz, even though he had stopped early due to a carp testing his pole’s elastic and winning.

Results: 1 Jake 8lb 8oz, 2 Hannah 8.04, 3 = Keiran 7.04, 3= Jasmine 7.04, 5 Oscar 5.10, 6 Cody 5.08, 7 William 3.06, 8 Olivia 2.02, 9 Jacob 1.10.
