This week they earned a 7-5 win over Red Lion and, although we are only five games in, they still have a 100 per cent record.

And with the other teams all taking points off each other, they find themselves three points clear at the top of the table.

Liberal lads took on Ex Service Sports and found themselves 4-2 down after the singles and staring defeat in the face.

Liberal then won all three doubles to end up 8-4 winners, leaving the Sports at the wrong end of the table.

Ex Service 501s played host to Welcome Anchors, where Andy Hardy got them off to a flier with his victory against Gary Garton.

The singles ended up 3-3 with the match in the balance, but the 501’s won all the doubles with the help of Chris Fletcher (140, 114 finish) and Ken Wilson (121, 140) to end up 9-3 winners.
