This year saw good weather enable more than 5,500 runners to finish the race. The event itself was around the top of Lincoln where it is flat and has personal best potential. Amongst the finishers were 48 runners from Sleaford Striders and of those, five managed to finish in the top 34, an amazing feat.

Iain Bailey was first strider and eighth overall in a time of 32min 58sec. He was followed by Alan Oliver 33.41, Greg Sothern 34.12, Chris North 35.28, and John Siddens 35.32 for 34th overall.
