The under 16A boys’ team enjoyed a 10-2 victory over Grantham last weekend.

This was the first of their Autumn League matches and produced good performances from all four team members, Lucas East, William Cutforth, Harry Foster and William Cheer.

The match was played away at Grantham on those orange courts – fairly wet from the previous day’s downpour of rain, but all the players adjusted well.

In action yet again this weekend, the under 16A boys’ team of Lucas East, William Cutforth, Harry Foster and Max Jones travelled to Bourne and were in very impressive form, winning every match to beat the lads from Bourne 12-0.

Next week they take on Deeping at home.

The under 14 Boston girls – Louise Sharp and Serena Morrow - had a 4-2 win at Horncastle, also in this League.

The 14 and under Boston boys’ B beat Sleaford 12-0.

Playing in this match were Max Jones, Thomas Piggins, Robbie Townsend and Reece Anderson-Doherty.

In the Men’s Open Division of the Autumn League, Boston have played St James and Grantham 2.

Against St James, Alex Cobb and James Newton won 6-0 whilst Joseph Parla and Tom Cozens lost 0-6 to Grantham 2.

The Mini Red team were in action for the first time this season in the Lincolnshire Winter Mini Leagues.

The team of Poppy Gibbons, Ben Rudkin, Matilda Clarke and Billy Smith put in some excellent performances and had a 14-4 result over Nettleham and a 13 -5 win against Grantham 2.
