Back-to-back wins for Boston Tennis Club Men in LTA National League

Boston Tennis Club's Men made it two wins from two in the LTA National League Regional Division.

The side hosted Louth Indoor Tennis Centre in the Midlands (East) Division.

Will Cheer, Lucas East, Seth Briggs-Williams, Max Jones an non-playing captain Thomas Cozens secured a 12-0 score, not dropping a single rubber.

In the singles round and in the doubles round there were two close three-set matches.

On Sunday the team are away to Derbyshire.

LTA National League Lincolnshire matches saw other Boston teams in action.

The 18 and under girls were away at Grantham and had a great 8-4 result.

The team was Issie Wookey, Florence Baxter, Lois Boothby and Poppy Gibbons.

The 16 and under girls team played St James at Boston, Emily Stukins, Martha Baxter and Yasmin Everitt wining 12-0.

The 14 and under boys team competed at Grantham and it was a 2-10 result for Ben Rudkin, Paul Young, Freddie Mountain and Theo Perowne.

The 14 and under girls B team also travelled to Grantham for their match and won 10-2.

It was a lovely start for the team of Matilda Clarke, Emily Pye, Neve Gibbons and Florence Perowne.

In Division Two of the LTA’s National League Lincolnshire Boston C and Boston D had matches.

Boston C's Rob Griffiths and Russell Warby beat Newark Seconds in the Division Two South while Boston D's Rob Bonser and Dylan Balker were beaten by Eastgate in the Division Two North.
