The second game brought a heavier defeat for the hosts, with only Harrison Cawrey’s score to show for their efforts. Man of the Match went to Alex Fish.

The Under 9 side played host to Cleethorpes Mosborough Barbarians, picking up handsome wins in both games.

In the first match they won 30-5, fielding an experienced team and using the width of the pitch to stretch their visitors.

The tries came from Jack Needham who bagged five, and James Blackburn. Match two saw Dinnington win 45-15, despite including a number of newer players.

Blackburn got another try, adding to scores from Joshua Cannadine, James Davies, Oliver Davies (2), Jack Mills, Jack Needham (2), Henry Robinson and Matthew Woodward.
