Bassetlaw hosts final

Bassetlaw Orienteers hosted the final event of the Notts Winter League, at Bevercotes on Saturday.

The four courses proved popular and provided a good test of navigation and fitness.

Sunday saw Bassetlaw’s orienteers in an East Midlands League event at Harlaxton College, near Grantham.

Results: Yellow Course Tom Cooley 2nd; Light Green Course Cameron Ridgway 6th; Blue Course Andrew Ridgway 17th, Graeme Huggan 18th.

On 12th March the annual Bassetlaw Primary Schools event is being held in Kings’ Park.

On 16th March the first of the new Bassetlaw Spring Series events will take place in the afternoon at Ollerton Pit Wood.
