Birds back
Alford Racing Pigeon Club raced from Whitley Bay, where 11 members sent 266 birds.
In first place was a husband and wife partnership Mr and Mrs Evans and second place was taken by another husband and wife team, Pete and Terri Rodgers.
Taking third and fourth place was John Wheeler, with fifth and sixth going to Pete and Terri Rodgers.
Mr and Mrs Evans were seventh with John Wheeler eighth and the Evanses also in ninth place.
Mr Boulton claimed 10th.
