Boston bowlers book place at National Championships

Three members of Boston Indoor Bowling Club have booked their places at the National Championships.

Janet Vinter, Jill Smith and Jean Thompson will now go on to compete at the Nottingham Indoor Bowls Club on March 28.

They will compete in the triples finals after earning their place there by defeating a Horncastle trio in the over 50s two-wood triples section.

Their first game at the nationals will se them come up against against a trio from Arun IBC.

Meanwhile, Eastenders are looking to close the gap on leaders Carlton Road in the Boston Indoor Bowls League.
