Upsall, who captained the team, met Tom Sully, from Halifax ABC.

In a no holds barred encounter, Sculley was awarded a unanimous decision, although the Boston corner felt the bout was closer than suggested.

Gel Finch was not on county duty, but the young Boston fighter took on Amy Timlin, from Wayne Ellcocks Box Clever.

Finch was favorite to win but Timlin had different ideas, easing her way to a points victory.

Against Sian O’Toole, the Droitwich ABC girl progressed following a split decision.

Boston’s Dylan Harmon faced Kia Bryan of Sudbury ABC, winning by a unanimous decision and claiming revenge for a previous defeat to the same opponent.

Boston ABC fighters will be showcasing their skills as the club’s show at Haven High Techology College on March 18.
