Boston ladies' football rivals clash in big local derby
There's a big local derby on Sunday (3 November) when Boston United Ladies take on Boston Town Ladies.
The match will take place on the 3G pitch at the Jakemans Community Stadium. Kick-off is 2.30pm and admission is free.
It's Boston Town Ladies who will go into the fixture as strong favourites after they continued their unbeaten start to the season last weekend.
An 8-2 win at Lincoln Griffins moved them 4 points clear at the top of the Lincs Women & Girls' League Open Age South.
Chelsea Milne hit a hat-trick and is now the league's top scorer with 9 goals in 4 matches.
By contrast, Boston United Ladies have yet to win - other than by being awarded a walkover against Ruston Sports.
In their last game, they were hammered 12-0 by Grimsby Town Academy in the county women's cup.
