Boston Tennis Club teams will return to competitive action this weekend as the LTA National Team Tennis competitions get underway.

The Boston Tennis Club Ladies, captained by Danielle Mason, were promoted in to the National League last year.

Competing in the Midlands Division, they will host Loughborough on Sunday.

The Boston Tennis Club Men, captained by Thomas Cozens, are competing in the Regional League’s Midlands Division.

They travel to Lutterworth Tennis Club on the same day.

The following weekend the Men are at home to Louth in the Regional competition and some Boston Tennis Club teams look forward to taking the first steps towards playing other teams in the LTA National League Lincolnshire.

Players at Boston Tennis Club were thrilled to finally go back on to the courts last week - especially as the weather was kind.

After easing of lockdown began, members were able to return to the outdoor courts for the first time since early January.

The indoor courts remain closed at the Sleaford Road club, but players were happy to be taking part in their respective sports and catching up with their friends and familiar faces - even if at a social distance.

All the coaching programmes are running throughout the Easter School Holidays with additional activities available to sign up to.
