Bowlers into national semis
Boston Indoor Bowling Club's ladies' Mason Trophy team have booked their place in the national semi-finals.
Jean Cammack’s rink won by eight shots while Sheila King fell by four shots, which saw an overall result of 45-41 against Cumbria in the quarters, played in Leeds.
The semi will be held at Nottingham IBC on March 31.
The team’s opponents will be either Mid Gloucester B or Hatfield.
The team representing Boston in the over 60s competition is Sue Hoyles, Sue Simpson Shaw, Jill Smith, Jean Cammack, Jo Sharp, Rita Epton, Jean Thompson and Sheila King.
