Bowls club ready for season

Ahead of the outdoor bowls season, several Beckingham Bowls Club members worked hard in March and April to prepare the green and site.

WEST Lindsey Indoor Bowls League round-up.

After a clean-up day the green opened last week. Club nights are on Thursdays.

Coaching sessions with a qualified coach have been arranged for new inexperienced players.

The Gainsborough Bowls League team have two friendly matches against Marton next week. Their league season starts at Owston Ferry on 8th May, and they will play at Melrose in the preliminary round of the Hazel Lawrence Trophy on 3rd May.

The club’s two Isle of Axholme League pensioners’ teams start their league seasons on 2nd May, while the Evening League players have their first match on 11th May.
