Bowls Club surviving conditions

THE unpredictable weather has not deterred Welbeck Abbey Bowls Club in their early season programme.

Matches against Goosemoor, Everton, East Markham, Yeoman Hill and Worksop have all survived the conditions.

The Long Botham Cup was abandoned however, and will now take place on 24th June.

On 3rd June 29 players turned out for the a drive of 18 ends, which was won by Malcolm Simpson, pictured receiving his bottle of wine.
