David Dobbs (pictured centre) emerged victorious, ahead of runner-up Alf Herrick (left) and third placed Tony Tenent.

In the Friendly League North Division, Jubilee Park A team were at home to Wanderers and lost by 37 shots to 73.

They won one rink but lost two, gaining two league points and conceding four.

It was a good friendly match played on a sunny but cold day and the team did very well to produce the result it did, considering most of them are fairly new to the game. Joan Herrick played very well and has improved tremendously.

The A team also lost away to Mareham, winning one rink and losing two once again.

In a close game, scoring 53 shots to 60, it was nip and tuck to the last end on two rinks on the penultimate end.

Well done to Roy Crampton, Joan Herrick and Alan Dunn who eventually won 24 to 20
