BOWLS: Woodhall Spa club hosts East Lindsey District Triples tournament

East Lindsey District's Triples competition was held at Jubilee Park Bowls Club in Woodhall Spa last Saturday.

There were 32 teams entered, with 96 bowlers in total on the green, including Sleaford’s Paul Oke, the youngest player in the competition at only 22 years old.

A prize of £150 was given to winners Sleaford and £75 went to runners-up Skegness.

Jubilee Park chairman Bernie Buck made the presentations and thanked everyone for attending and making the tournament such a great event.

He also thanked everyone from Jubilee Park Bowls Club who worked so hard to ensure the event was a success.

The competition was held in glorious sunshine, food and refreshments were provided throughout the day by the club, and there was also a raffle, tombola and products sale.
