Boxer Callum Johnson marks ring return with swift victory

Callum Johnson marked his return to the ring in style.

The Boston light heavyweight ended a frustrating two years on inactivity by halting Croatian Emil Markic in the second round at York Hall tonight.

For Johnson, who has returned to Frank Warren';s stable, his dreams of a second world title shot remain well and truly alive as he stretched his pro record to 19-1.

Markic suffered just his third defeat in 35 bouts.
