MARTIAL ARTS: Horncastle coach will fight in Worlds
Kickboxing coach Darren Burton has qualified to fight at the WKC World Championships in Portugal in October.
A good season has seen Darren, who fights on the British Chinese Kickboxing Association England squad, earn himself a place on the podium at every competition he has entered, although he is currently recovering from a knee injury he sustained while fighting the current world champion Thomas Drumm, of Germany, at the beginning of last month.
Darren coaches classes at Horncastle Primary School on Friday evenings, in the lower school hall between 6pm and 7.30pm. The first lesson is free and then it is £5 per session thereafter.
