In the second half Colin Lattimor, in the Brigg goal, made some excellent saves to keep his side in the game for as long as possible.
The visitors did add a second goal when Andy Dixon scored with a drag-flick at a short corner.
But the home side struck back with two more goals of their own as Brigg went down to a 5-2 defeat.
