With two games remaining in the Lincs ECB Premier, Boston could finish anywhere between sixth and 10th in the standings, so each point is very important in the final two weeks of the season.

Boston could be unchanged for the third week running as everyone is available from this week’s trip to Nettleham, which fell foul of the weather.

“We have 40 points to play for and we want to pick up as many as possible in these next two weeks,” said captain Tom Baxter.

Boston sit nine points behind Woodhall Spa and 14 points behind Louth in the table.

“It isn’t a case of finishing further up the table but of picking up points,” the skipper added.

“If we perform well for two weeks but don’t move up the table, then so be it.

“The teams above us might perform as well and that can happen.

“We should finish top nine now.”

In the reverse fixture, Boston shocked Deeping, the table toppers at the time, by beating them in another close battle, edging the game by nine runs.
