St Michael’s headteacher Paul Fox said: “We love swimming at St Michael’s and all our children, from foundation stage through to Year 6, go to the Meridian for a block of lessons.

“Swimming is great for health and fitness, builds confidence, raises self-esteem and is a valuable life-long skill.

“Many of our children progress to our local club, Louth Dolphins. Becoming county champions is the icing on the cake!”
