Chmielik has the edge in tennis league

In the Boston Tennis Club’s Bombay Brasserie Singles Leagues the rounds of matches for July are nearly over.

In the Singles Evening League top group Michal Chmielik and Jeremy George-Jones are both unbeaten, but Jeremy has an extra drawn result recorded giving Michal the edge.

In group two, David Dunlop has taken the lead in that group to gain promotion to the top layer.

In the Bombay Brasserie Daytime League there are still matches to be completed before promotions and relegations are revealed.

As Coronavirus lockdown restrictions are eased Boston Tennis Club welcomed being able to re-open the Indoor Centre on Saturday.

Another lifting of restrictions means that coaches are allowed to take larger numbers in their groups of juniors.

The club is able to offer Tennis Holiday Camps and these are taking place for the first three weeks of the summer holidays.
