Coupland misses the cut
Dave Coupland missed the cut at The Open.
Yesterday he carded a round of +7 at Royal Troon, finishing the South Ayrshire course in 78 shots.
The Bostonian, who is attached to Woodhall Spa Golf Club, began promisingly with a birdie on the first, taking him back to level par following Thursday’s first round on +1.
However, six bogeys and a double bogey on the ninth ended the 30-year-old’s hopes of competing for the final two days.
