Back to back wins for on-form Marshalls

On losing the toss skipper Snell was invited to field first.

Ridler and Barker took the new ball, but both struggled with their length and the Notts batsmen got off to a flyer.

But a mistake gave a simple chance to Metcalfe at midwicket to take an easy catch.

However for next few overs the scoreboard went up at a good rate and at 70 for 1 Notts looked in a good position.

Then the introduction of Senescall and Snell saw six maidens bowled on the bounce and the game started to change.

Senescall bowled superbly with figures of 4 for 21 including four maidens in his 11 overs, while Snell collected 2 for 19 from his 13 overs including six maidens.

Ridler (3 for 32) and Barker (0 for 46) saw Notts and Arnold see out the innings and finish on 122 for 9.

Metcalfe (27*)and Snell (60*) opened for the first time this season and the pair set about knocking off the score which they managed to do inside 30 overs with the help of 36 extras.

Marshalls are holding a golf day on Sunday 30th June at Misterton Golf Club. The cost is £15 per player and will include a meal afterwards.
