Barker smashed Rasen’s attack for 20 sixes and nine boundaries to help the hosts compile a daunting 314 all out in the Lincs County League match. Amid the mauling, David Papworth took 5 for 22, while there were two wickets apiece for Graeme Bell and Luke Richards.

In reply Papworth fell without scoring as Rasen slumped to 28-3. Jon Stephenson steadied the ship with a patient 68, but wickets fell at regular intervals as Rasen tried to keep up with the run rate, and were eventually all out for 165.

The 149-run defeat saw Rasen slip to second in Division Three, seven points adrift of Nettleham, and eight points ahead of Normanby who moved up to third.
