Everton side in final berth

Captain Harry Longworth, aided by Isaac Bailey and a good all-round team, were too strong for a young Gamston.

In the final at Blyth, Everton will face holders Ryton Park who remain in contention for another “Champion of Champions” title to match their football teams, after a narrow victory over St John’s.

St John’s looked in control, but a series of run-outs, a large number of byes and a batting onslaught by Maydhi and Saeed Ahmed saw Ryton Park through to another final.

In the final Girls County Championship final, St John’s girls lost to Oak Tree Lane.
