Opener Ben Troops hit an impressive 61 and put on 123 for the second wicket with Jonny Cheer (55).

Norman Brackley took 3-33 from his 10 overs.

But Skegness' reply fell well short as they were dismissed for 107 in 34.3 overs with three batsmen out for ducks as they stumbled to 32-5.

Scott Elleray (5-21 off 20 overs) and Daniel Milgate (3-46 off 7.3 overs) dominated with Qaiser Iqbal top-scoring on 29 and William Bowser adding 24.

In Division Three South, Holme made short work of their visit to Royal Boston seconds.

The home side chose to bat but were all out for 41 in just 19.3 overs with Chloe Sainsbury (5-21 in nine overs) and Nick Bradbury (4-13 in nine overs) in excellent form.

Ian Kendall was then 41 not out as Holme wrapped things up at 42-1 in 12.1 overs.

At county level, Lincolnshire experienced the full emotional spectrum of limited-overs cricket over the past week, following up a dramatic last-gasp victory over Northumberland at Bracebridge Heath with a disappointing defeat at Woodhall Spa to Norfolk in their third NCCA One Day Trophy outing.

After being set a competitive target of 261 by Bracebridge (captain, Nick Keast, returning figures of 4-48 runs from 10 overs), the hosts were guided superbly by Sam Evans, whose composed 85 formed the backbone of the innings with support in the shape of Tom Keast (47).

With the game on a knife-edge, Lincolnshire slipped to nine wickets down, still needing 14 runs from the final over. But Jake Ludlam and Alex Moor held their nerve to see them home by one wicket.

However, at home to Norfolk, the visitors posted a competitive 258 for the loss of nine wickets.

In reply, only Freddie Gossnall (33), James Laud (47) and Pranav Pothula (52 non out) made telling contributions as Lincolnshire were 181 all out.
