Louth CC slipped to the foot of the Readers Lincolnshire ECB Premier League after a rain-affected home defeat on Saturday.
Water under the covers at London Road had reduced the First XI’s game against Grimsby to 32 overs per side.
The home side made 132-8, a total Grimsby overtook for the loss of seven wickets in a tense finale.
Louth will be aiming for their first win of the season on Saturday when they visit Lindum.
