Osgodby Primary School girls reach county cricket final
A small village primary school has punched above its weight by reaching the final of a county cricket competition.
Girls from Osgodby Primary School began their epic journey by winning the area tournament at Caistor Cricket Club to book their place in the next round.
They then travelled to Hartsholme Cricket Club, in Lincoln, to pit themselves against eight other girls’ teams from around the county.
The team made it all the way to the final, where they were finally pipped into second by strong opponents from Grantham Prep School.
