Sporting duo recognised at 2012 awards

TWO young Gainsborough sportsmen have been recognised for their achievements, at the Lincs Sports Awards 2012.

Judo player and Olympic torchbearer Jack Hodgson was a finalist in the Young Disabled Sportsperson of the Year category, and cricketer Will Wright from Willingham by Stow was a finalist in the Young Sportsman of the Year section.

Almost 400 guests celebrated Lincolnshire’s year of sporting success at the annual event, organised by Lincs Sports Partnership to recognise those involved in sport and physical activity from across the county.
