CYCLING: Duo tie for first place in Sleaford Wheelers' opening 10

Sleaford Wheelers 10-mile time trial league began on Thursday evening with two riders tied for first place in the opening round.

Joint fastest were Wheeler Richard Hamblin and Velo-One Cycling Team’s Anthony Gough who both completed the course in 22min 18sec.

Gough’s time shaved more than a minute of his previous personal best, whilst V1 team-mate Nick Millward, of Sleaford, recorded 25.25.

A total of 25 Wheelers took part in the event, along with eight guest riders.
