CYCLING: Sleaford Wheeler George joins new team
Sleaford Wheelers bike racer George Thompson has been selected to be part of a new road race team for 2016.
George will be one of the five-man East Midlands-based Team Giant Store Rutland Water Wattbike set-up which will be looking to compete on the national stage, targeting National A and B races, with a big focus on some of the classic races on the UK calendar.
George and his team will receive support from Rutland Water Giant Store and Wattbike. They will be racing Giant TCR bikes equipped with Shimano Ultegra, and will be kitted out with Santini clothing provided by Wattbike.
