DARTS: Monkeys outwit Park Rangers in Skegness League top flight
Sid Dennis and Sons Division One
Arctic Shrew Monkeys played bottom of table New Park Rangers and needed a win to keep the pressure on the top two who also met this night.
Brad Martin was in a fine vein of form for Rangers, winning both his singles games with scores of 4 x 100, 121, 133, 4 x 140, 180 and a stunning 17 dart leg. Ray Whitton chipped in with scores of 100, 116, 123, 140, to get his singles win.

The top two met at the Ex Service, as 501s took on Liberal Lads.
The first singles were shared two apiece, and the doubles were also shared to leave it all square at three each going into the final set of singles, but it was to be the leaders’ night as the 501s took the final four singles to run out 7-3 winners.
In a high scoring game, 501s had Chris Fletcher 8 x 100, 121, 76 finish and an 18 dart leg, Gary Garton 2 x 100, and a 20 darter, Ken Wilson 2 x 100, 105, 121, 2 x 140, and an 80 finish with a 21, and 17 dart leg, Pete Evans 100, 125, 140 and Liam Simms 7 x 100, 140. Railroad Cobras top the table with the only 100 per cent record still intact.
They took on Ex Service Spitfires, pointless at the foot of the table, in the only game in this diviision this week, and you would have thought a landslide victory was on the cards.
Although the Spitfires dominated the scoring with 29 sheet shots to 19, it was the leaders that came away with an impressive 8-2 win. Cobras had Ray Bettison 2 x 100, 140, Darrell Webb 4 x 100, 130, 2 x 140 and an 18 darter, Ian Chamberlain 100, 140.

Cobras are now five points clear of Seaview Raiders and WMC Amigos.
League Cup
WMC Amigos took on Red Lion in the cup, and what a game it was.
Red Lion got plenty of high scores, but the 200 start proved too much as the Amigos ran out 7-3 winners, to put themselves on 13 points and in number one position for now.
