De Aston School crowned basketball champions
Market Rasen pupils were crowned county basketball champions after a dominant performance at the county finals at Carre's Grammar School, in Sleaford.
De Aston School’s under 16s basketball team, nicknamed the Globetrotters, secured victories against William Farr (23-13), Carre’s (16-7) and Haven High School (15-4). They will next take on the Nottinghamshire winners later this month.
Matthew Xu was named man of the tournament, having contributed eight points and making two assists in the final game against Haven High School.
