Harry, from Nettleton, joined the Riders last autumn and made a 140-mile journey twice a week for training with the National League club.

He picked a perfect season to join the club in a city where sporting success is all the rage at the moment, the football club having just captured the Premier League title.

Harry has been a regular player in the club’s under 16s side this season, spending most of his time on court as his team’s power forward.

The teenager has clearly made his mark and was recently awarded a place at Charnwood in the Basketball Centre of Excellence, run by Basketball England, which he will take up from the start of next season.

Harry also had success to celebrate locally as part of the Market Rasen school’s under 16s team which won the Lincolnshire title last season.
