Local swimmers also took part in the first Notts Stage 1 gala at Worksop Leisure Centre.

Dolphins swimmers aged eight to 11 years came out winners beating teams from Chesterfield, Bramcote, Newark, Hucknall and Falcon swimming clubs, Dolphins led the gala from start to finish and ended the event finishing first in the cannon.

Worksop totalled 201 points, winning by a 30-point margin.
