Dublin date for Tom

The 11-year-old table tennis prodigy is to compete for England, against Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and the Channel Islands, this weekend.

Dublin is the venue for the Games, and his proud family will be there to cheer him on.

Mum Joanne told the Guardian: “As a family we are proud that Tom has been recognised by English Schools Table Tennis Association for all his hard work and achievements over the last year.”

“We wish Tom the very best and we will be there supporting him in Dublin.”

The youngster has been supported in his development in the sport by by Worksop and District Table Tennis, and Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw.
