Epworth student comes out top in field
South Axholme student Matthew Allison blew away all competition in the Scunthorpe and District Cross Country Championship Minor Section last week.
The Year Seven student came out on top of a field of 150 runners from 12 other secondary schools and took the win by an impressive margin.
There was also good days for other South Axholme students, as in the junior girls section Ellie Watts maintained her impressive record at this event gaining second place, and in the intermediate boys Adam Plows was seventh.
