Finale to the tennis season
Gainsborough and Wheatley Hills came out on top in the Evening League Tennis Tournament finals on Saturday.
The weather stayed fine and sunny for the season finale.
And Gainsborough were the first side to clinch a title, beating Epworth 2.
In the second final, Wheatley Hills triumphed over Epworth 4.
The league and cup presentations were then made by Evening League chairman Phil Green.
Gainsborough’s cup win made them double champions after they lifted the Division One title, while North Wheatley took the second division, with Wheatley Hills gaining promotion in the third division.
