First four qualifiers for Swallownest Bowls Club’s ‘Super Saturdays’ event

Two playoffs have been held at the King Street facility, with two sets of 16 players being whittled down to final pairs.

Making it through the first weekend’s play were Dean Missere and Jack Clarke.

At the second playoff, the qualifiers were Scott Woodward and Richard Howson.

The next two playoffs will be held on 22nd and 29th July, before the final on 6th July.

A prize of £1,000 is up for grabs for the bowlers, some of whom are All England Championship contenders.
