Alfreton Town v Boston United postponed a second time, but new date is set

Contest rescheduled for later this month

Today’s National League North clash between Alfreton Town and Boston United has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Following a 9am pitch inspection, the Impact Arena playing surface was deemed unplayable.

This is the second time the contest will have to be rescheduled. The two rivals were due to meet in Derbyshire on January 2, but a frozen pitch also put paid to action that day.

The match will now be played on Tuesday, January 26.

United won 2-0 when the two sides met on Boxing Day.
