'Biggest game of the season!' Boston Town and Holbeach United prepare to battle for place in cup final

Gary Edgley has described tonight's county cup semi-final as the 'biggest game of the season'.

The Poachers will host Holbeach United in the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy this evening, with a place in the final up for grabs for the winners.

"It's the biggest game of the season for us in terms of the chance of winning something," Edgley said.

"It's a local derby which makes things a bit more spicy."

The Tigers completed a UCL Premier double over Town last month, now Edgley wants to claim his first win against United.

"Holbeach have been a bit of a bogey team for me," he added.

"They were the first game I had in charge of Boston. We had enough chances in the first half to be 3-0 up but came in 1-0 and lost the game.

"And then there's the two games this season.

"But its a cup semi-final and whoever finishes the winners will deserve it."

Kick off at the DWB Stadium will be at 7.45pm.
