Blues in play-off semi tonight

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity play host to FC Halifax Town in a huge Blue Square Bet North play-off semi-final clash tonight.

Steve Housham’s Blues are at home on the Northolme for the first leg at 7.45pm, before travelling to Halifax on Sunday.

Trinity finished fourth in the league thanks to their 3-2 win at Altrincham on Saturday, level on points with Halifax who had a superior goal difference to take third position.

The winners of the semi-final will meet whoever triumphs between Guiseley and Nuneaton.
