Blues winning streak halted at Hyde

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity’s winning streak came to an end at the hands of the league leaders today.

Hyde made it 10 wins from 10 outings with a 3-1 victory at Ewen Fields, ending the Blues’ run of triumphs under new boss Steve Housham.

Trinity had won their previous five games, but went behind on two minutes as Ryan Crowther opened the scoring.

Danny Hall and Scott Spencer made it 3-0 inside 21 minutes, and Gainsborough could only muster a Ryan Kendall goal early in the second half.

The Blues are fourth in the Blue Square Bet North table.
