Cameron Gilchrist put hosts Melton Town ahead in the 23rd minute before Kadeem Price doubled the advantage from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark.
Jordan Neil struck the Melton post while Alex Beck and Liam Tunstall both forced the Melton keeper into saves.
