Boston Town edged out in eight-goal thriller

Boston Town were beaten 5-3 at home by Anstey Nomads last night.

Luke White scored a brace for the Poachers while Richard Ford was also on target for a team which was without the services of Alex Beck, Jordan Tate, Jack Fixter, Lori Borbely, Finlay Armond and Rodrigo Silva.

However, the visitors also proved clinical to claim the three United Counties League Premier Division points.

Town remain eighth in the table and travel to ninth-placed Wellingborough on Saturday (KO 3pm).
