Lewis Gibbens has joined Worksop Town on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

The defender - who missed almost a year of action due to injury last season - has struggled to force his way into the Boston United back line this season with in-form centre backs Luke Shiels and Scott Garner helping the Pilgrims keep seven clean sheets from the past 11 matches.

Gibbens initially joined the Tigers on loan in October but has his stint cut short due to lockdown, with manager Craig Elliott stating Sandy Lane was a good place for him to get regular game time.

United have a recall option available after the first 28 days.
