Boston United played out a 3-3 draw with Notts County tonight.

The two sides met as they prepare for play-off action after four months without competitive games.

The contest was a chance for both sides to get some extra match sharpness under their belts as well as get used to new COVID-19 protocols on match days.

Cal Roberts, Ben Turner and Tom Crawford netted for the hosts at Meadow Lane with Jake Wright bagging a brace for Boston and Andi Thanoj curling home a delightful free kick for Craig Elliott’s side.

United face the winners of Brackley Town and Gateshead on July 25 in the National League North.

The Magpies face the winners of Yeovil v Barnet on the same day in the National League.
