Boston United drawn away at Evesham United in FA Trophy

Boston United have been drawn away at Evesham United in the FA Trophy.

The Pilgrims will travel to The Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium to face the side who currently sit 14th in the Southern League South on Tuesday.

Evesham beat Bideford on penalties following a 1-1 draw in round one on Saturday. They have also knocked out Leek Town, Carlton Town and Biggleswade this season.

The victorious side will then host the winners of AFC Fylde and Curzon Ashton after the two national League North sides had been drawn against one another.

The re-scheduled FA Trophy has impressed manager Craig Elliott, who praised the holding of two quickfire rounds within the space of a week.

The second round matches are due to be played from Tuesday, with the round three ties scheduled for Saturday,. December 19.
